good day :)

Today was a good day. Midgie went with me to the temple. It was a peaceful and encouraging experience. On the way home the rain monsooned around and upon us, so delightfully. My books for school that I just ordered on Tuesday came in the mail, along with my financial aid check from the school. I'm not broke anymore! I know I'll have to pay it back with interest later, but for now it's a life saver because now I have money to pay my bills through the coming semester. There's some stress off my back. Now if I could just find a job that fits my needs, that would be fantastic!

Tonight we went to the state capitol building for the Movie Under the Stars. The movie was Monsters vs. Aliens. I'd never seen it before and went with very low expectations...but it was entertaining enough, particularly because of the people I was with. It was cold (thankfully not wet) and windy, but it was worth it.

Tomorrow I'm going to visit Double E and Zigster at the CU. It's been a long time since the last time I went down to SoJo, too long. It'll be nice to see them, particularly Double E. I really miss working with her. We were great friends! Sometimes I think about going back...but then I remember why I left and tell myself it's best to go forward, not back. But a visit will be nice :)

I hope that things are finally looking up. I feel better now than I did at the beginning of the summer. Realizing that sometimes it's necessary to take a time out and just collect myself has helped me put some things in perspective. I'm in the right place, doing the right things, and therefore, the future is looking more promising. I'm not lost, I'm not stuck, I'm content and ready for more fun times!

But first, it's time for sleeping now :)
